Born and raised in Los Angeles, educated in Photolithography and Photography, I arrived in Atlanta in 1975 during Atlanta's Golden Age of Advertising, and spent a year with a Typesetter, a year in Retail Advertising, and a year in Magazine Publishing before venturing out as a Freelance Production Artist for Ad Agencies and Design Firms This period include time with McDonald & Little, BDA/BBDO, J. Walter Thompson, Direct Drive Design,, and Think New Ideas, for Coca-Cola, Major League Baseball, several Airlines, and the Healthcare, Financial, and Publishing industries. I moved to Mobile in 1997 and provide Graphic Design, Photography, Digital Art, and Fine-Art Photography, with an emphasis on Architecture, Industry, and Tourism.
My work is in the Permanent Collections for the RSA Tower, the historic Battle House Hotel, the Renaissance Riverview Hotel, as well as numerous private and corporate collections. My book, Mobile's Cathedral, is in the libraries of the White House, the Vice-President, and the Governor of Alabama, as well as Alabama Congressman Jo Bonner. My Tourism photography is featured in advertisements for various state and municipal campaigns.
My goal is to find beauty in every situation I encounter. Sometimes this is obvious, as in Architecture, and sometimes it is hidden, as in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
