I’m a Photographer and a Web designer based in Nashville TN. Thus far, I’ve found photography and web design to compliment each other beautifully! I spend free time learning and growing as an artist while keeping up with modern digital trends and marketing theory. I can’t stand being idle, and I’m extremely sensitive to caffeine. YOUR TURN. In 2000 I began my college career in the very black and white field of electrical engineering. Two semesters later I felt like I was suffocating. I was restless and miserable and it was this sense of claustrophobia that caused me to leave one of the most highly-esteemed and challenging schools in the country only to begin classes at MTSU here in Murfreesboro with interest in everything from psychology to 3d animation and philosophy.

In February 2004, I bought my first fancy camera and started taking pictures like it was my job. Haha. I didn’t take ANY formal photography classes other than the mandatory black and white film course, and didn’t have any tangible mentors other than some dreamy online-websites that kept me inspired and motivated. I have always been a “learn by doing” type guy and so I did just that – I started doing. By 2005 I had snapped 15,000 images with that old Nikon and had learned leaps and bounds about exposure, light, iso, aperture, shutterspeed, focal length, depth of field, and had even figured out how to apply my art background of composition, contrast, perceived lines and patterns etc!

Today I’m doing my best to spread the word and get my name out in and around middle TN with dreams and hopes of continuing to work and travel. I’ve done work for large corporations and yet still enjoy shooting family portraits. I prefer on-location shoots and try to stay away from traditional studio work. Whoever you are, lets get together and make great things happen!
